[김현우 기자 = 강릉시] 강릉시는 전입·사망신고서를 활용하여 찾아가는보건복지팀으로 즉시 연계될 수 있도록 도내 최초로「복지 상담 필요 여부」 문구를 삽입한다고 28일 밝혔다. 

강릉시는 사회적 고립가구 실태조사를 통해, 잦은 주거지 이동이 있고, 가구원의 사망으로 고립가구로 이어지는 위기가구의 특성을 파악하고 초기대응을 위해 전입·사망신고서를 활용한 발굴 체계 방안을 마련했다고 전했다.

대상자가 전입·사망신고 시 신고서에 '복지 상담 필요 여부'를 체크하면 복지행정팀 민원담당공무원은 즉시 찾아가는 보건복지팀으로 안내하고, 종합상담을 통해 맞춤형 서비스를 연계한다. 

조연정 복지정책과장은 “새로운 환경에 적응하기 위한 첫 단계인 주민센터 방문부터 공공서비스 연계까지 원스톱으로 이어지는 효과적인 복지전달체계 개선방안이 되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편, 강릉시는 “찾아가는 + 찾아오는” 보건복지서비스 제공에 총력을 기울이고 있으며, 사업의 실효성을 확인하기 위해 5개 읍·동(주문진읍, 홍제동, 포남2동, 내곡동, 성덕동)을 시범적으로 운영한 후 2023년부터는 점차 확대할 예정이다.
