[김준호 기자 = 정선군] 태백산 적멸보궁 정암사 개산문화제는 지난 2020년 정선 정암사 수마노탑이 보물 제410호에서 국보제332호로 승격 기념과 신라 대국통 자장율사의 정암사 창건 의의를 기리기 위한 것이다.

개산문화제 첫날인 10월 8일 자장율사의 정암사 창건을 기리는 개산대재 봉행은 ‘불교의식의 최고봉’ 대한불교조계종 어산어장인 인묵스님이 개산재 의식을 주관한다.

의식은 오전 9시 자장율사 진영이운을 시작으로 육법공양, 개산조영반고유재의 순서로 진행한다.

올해 정선 정암사 개산문화제는 개산대재와 위령제 등 본 행사 외에도  산사음악회와 지역 정서에 충만한 현대무용 퍼포먼스 등 문화 예술 프로그램도 다양하다.

기존 음악회나 축제의 익숙한 노래반주가 아닌 생생한 소리를 통해 사찰의 가을을 느낄 수 있는 행사다.

정암사 개산문화제 산사음악회에서는 빅바이올린플레이어(빅바플) 임이환과 타악솔리스트 고명진, 클래식 현악 4중주 앙상블 공감, 고스트윈드, 라벤타나 등이 출연해 실연할 예정이다.

한편 강원랜드가 후원하고 다문화 가족이 주관하는 다양성 축제는 8일, 9일 양일간 정암사 도량에서 진행할 예정이다.
