[김준호 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시가 관광산업의 변화에 대응, 여행을 통한 지역사회 경제적 기여를 높이기 위해 여행콘텐츠 기획가를 양성한다고 밝혔다. 

이를 위해 오는 9월 20일부터 10월 27일까지 진행되는 「여행콘텐츠 기획가 양성과정」 학습자 25명을 모집할 계획이다.

이번 교육과정은 관광산업의 질적 성장, 생태계육성, 융·복합 고부가가치화 등 관광트렌드 및 환경 변화에 부합하는 지역관광 기획자 양성으로, 지역관광자원의 체계적인 보전·관리·활용, 관광객 유치 및 관광 소비지출 활성화를 도모하기 위해 운영된다.

프로그램은 ▶관광 및 여행 비즈니스 트렌드 분석 ▶문화 콘텐츠 및 여행 콘텐츠 기획  ▶홍보·마케팅 비즈니스·영업 전략 분석 ▶나만의 여행 콘텐츠 기획사 설립(실습) 등 이론과 실습을 병행한 교육으로 80%이상 출석할 경우 수료증이 발급된다.

교육을 원하는 동해시민은 이번달 25일부터 31일까지 동해시평생학습관 홈페이지를 통해 접수하며, 기타 자세한 사항은 평생교육센터 평생교육팀으로 문의하면 된다.

전춘미 평생교육센터 소장은 “지역 특성에 맞는 관광인력 육성을 통해 관광산업 경쟁력 증대와 새로운 여행 패러다임 변화에 대비하여 관광산업의 신성장 동력으로 발돋움 할 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 진행하도록 하겠다”고 전했다.
