[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시와 (사)원주소비자시민모임는 지난 27일 문화의거리 상설공연장 앞에서 2022년 여름철 에너지절약 캠페인을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 캠페인에서는 “막!지!마! (전기요금 폭탄 막고 지구환경 지키는 에너지절약 방법 마스터)”라는 슬로건을 내세워 시민들에게 에너지절약 물품 배부, 퀴즈 풀기, 대체에너지 체험활동 등을 통해 여름철 효과적인 에너지절약 방법을 홍보했다.

또한, 실내온도 26℃ 유지하기, 사용하지 않는 콘센트 뽑기, 에어컨과 선풍기를 함께 사용하기, 냉장고 속은 60~70%만 채우기 등 생활 속에서 실천할 수 있는 에너지절약을 독려하기도 했다.

원주시 관계자는 “이번 캠페인을 통해 많은 시민이 에너지절약에 관심을 가지고 실천할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다”라고 말했다.

한편 원주시와 (사)원주소비자시민모임은 겨울철에도 생활 속 에너지절약을 실천할 수 있도록 올해 하반기에 겨울철 에너지절약 캠페인을 추진할 계획이다.
