[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천시는 최근 춘천시 국가보훈대상자 예우 및 지원에 관한 조례를 일부 개정했다고 밝혔다.

개정안에 따르면 저소득 국가유공자에게 소득을 보전할 수 있는 근거가 마련됐다고 전했다.

이에 따라 강원도에서는 처음으로 저소득 국가유공자 생계보조수당을 지급하게 됐으며, 다만 보훈명예수당을 받는 경우 생계보조수당을 중복 지원하지 않는다고 했다.

춘천시 관계자는 “앞으로도 국가를 위해 헌신한 국가유공자의 예우를 위해 다양한 정책을 펼칠 것”이라고 말했다.
