[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 29일 경기주택도시공사(GH)는 GH 제1호 통합공공임대주택인 안성청사복합 통합공공임대주택을 착공했다고 밝혔다.

안성청사복합 통합공공임대주택은 경기도 소유의 옛 안성병원 부지에 통합공공임대주택 320호와 안성3동 행정복지센터가 건립되는 복합개발사업이라고 했다. 

이 사업은 2018년 11월 GH와 경기도와 안성시가 옛 안성병원 부지 활용을 위한 업무협약을 체결하면서 계획됐다고 전했다. 

경기도는 부지를 제공하고, 안성시는 행정복지센터 건립비용 조달 및 행정절차 지원과, GH는 공공청사건설과 통합공공임대주택 시공, 관리·운영을 맡아서 임대주택과 공공청사의 복합개발사업이 이루어질 수 있었다고 했다.

특히 이 사업은 도심지 내 저이용 공공 부지를 효율적으로 개발하는 우수협업 사례로 손꼽히고 있으며, 복합개발을 통해 도민의 주거문제 해결에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다고 했다.  

한편 통합공공임대주택은 영구ㆍ국민ㆍ행복주택 등 기존 다양한 유형의 공공임대 유형을 하나로 통합하고 복잡한 소득·자산기준 등을 단순화하여 수요자 접근성은 높이고, 저소득층부터 중산층까지 다양한 계층이 한데 어우러져 거주할 수 있는 최장 30년 거주가 가능한 공공임대 유형 통합 모델이라고 했다. 

안성청사복합 통합공공임대주택은 2023년 상반기에 입주자 모집을 시작하고 2024년 6월 준공될 예정이라고 전했다. 

전형수 GH부사장(사장직무대행)은 “안성청사복합 통합공공임대주택사업을 성공적으로 추진해 도심 내 공공 부지의 잠재력을 극대화하고 경기도민의 공공편의와 삶의 질을 높일 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
