[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 기초연금 수급자와 배우자의 소득‧재산‧인적정보 등을 정기적으로 확인‧반영하여 부적정 지급을 사전에 방지하기 위한 연간 조사계획을 수립하고 추진한다고 밝혔다.

강릉시는 만 65세 이상 소득 하위 70% 이하 어르신(2022년 3월 기준 33,599명)에게 기초연금을 지급하고 있으며, 기초연금 수급자의 소득‧재산 및 인적정보를 포함한 중점관리 사항 8개 분야에 대하여 연간 확인조사를 실시한다고 전했다.

공적자료로 연계되는 소득‧재산 및 인적정보 조사는 시 통합조사관리팀이 수행하며, 현장 확인이 필요한 중점관리 분야는 국민연금공단이 수행하여 유기적인 협업체계를 유지하며 진행되고, 또한, 각 읍면동에서는 적극적인 기초연금 제도 홍보를 통하여 신규 수급 대상자를 발굴할 예정이라고 했다.

2022년 기초연금 선정기준액은 단독가구 180만 원 이하, 부부가구 288만 원 이하이며, 주소지 관할 읍면동 주민센터나 전국 국민연금공단 지사에서 신청이 가능하다고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“연간 확인조사로 기초연금 부적정 지급을 사전에 방지하여 재정의 효율적인 집행 및 기초연금 수급에 사각지대가 없도록 대상자 발굴에 힘쓸 예정이다.”라고 말했다.
