[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 코로나19 확진자 폭증으로 격리통지서 발급 및 생활지원비 신청 민원이 폭주함에 따라 민원 불편과 업무처리의 어려움을 해결하기 위하여 시 홈페이지에서 격리통지서 발급을 지난 3월 25일에 생활지원비 온라인 신청은 지난 3월 31일부터 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

지금까지는 코로나19 확진이 되면 보건소에서 문자로 격리통지서 및 안내 사항을 전송하였고, 격리기간이 지난 후 민원인이 학교나 회사 출근 시 필요한 격리통지서 발급을 위하여 보건소에 문의하여 이메일 등으로 격리통지서를 재발급받아야 했으며, 또한 생활지원비 신청 시에도 주소지 동 주민센터에 문의하여 직접 방문하거나 이메일 혹은 팩스로 서류를 개별 접수해야 했고, 동 주민센터에서도 방문 민원 증가로 서류 처리에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있었다고 했다.

시는 이런 민원인의 불편함을 해소하기 위하여 관련 부서 간 업무협의를 통해 집에서 인터넷으로 시 홈페이지에 접속하여 격리통지서 조회 및 발급‧출력을 하고 발급받은 통지서 및 기타 서류들을 첨부하여 생활지원비 신청이 가능하도록 시스템을 구축하여 시민들의 편의를 증진하였다고 전했다.

고진택 자치행정국장은 “이번 격리통지서 및 생활지원비 온라인 신청으로 시민들의 불편이 크게 줄 것으로 기대하고, 앞으로도 코로나19 확진자 급증 등으로 힘든 상황에서 보다 적극적으로 시민들의 불편함을 줄이고 직원들의 어려움을 덜어줄 수 있는 방법을 계속 모색해 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
