[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 세금 관련 무료 세무 상담서비스와 지방세 제도를 설명하는 2022년 마을세무사 제도를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이 제도는 경제적으로 세무 상담을 받기 힘든분들에게 세금 관련 무료 세무 상담서비스를 제공하고, 매년 달라지는 지방세 제도에 대한 설명 및 홍보를 추진하여 납세편의 제고를 위해 추진되며, 취약계층, 영세사업자 등 세무사 이용이 어려운 주민들에게 세무사들의 재능기부를 통해 무료 세무 상담을 제공하여 복잡한 세금 관련 문제 해결과 절세 등에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다고 했다.

다만 보유재산이 수도권 7억 원 이상, 비수도권 5억 원 이상, 종합소득(매출액)이 5천만 원 이상인 경우는 상담이 제한될 수도 있으며, 상담신청은 1차적으로 전화·팩스·메일상담 후 필요시 대면상담으로 도움을 받을 수 있다고 전했다.

강릉시 관계자는“마을세무사는 지역의 인적자원을 주민과 연계해 재능기부를 할 수 있는 기회이며, 시민들에게는 전문성 있는 세무행정 서비스를 제공받아 합리적인 납세에  도움이 될 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.
