[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 22일, 동두천시는 2022년 공원녹지·산림분야 기간제근로자 70명에 대해 중대재해처벌법 시행에 따른 현장 근로자 안전교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 교육은 공원녹지과에서 운영 중인 공원관리원·사방댐관리원·병해충 예찰방제단·꽃의도시 조성사업 기간제근로자 등을 대상으로 진행되었고, 교육내용은 사업장별 안전수칙 및 안전사고 예방교육, 안전장비 착용 등 공원녹지·산림분야 사업장에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고를 미연에 방지하기 위한 내용이 포함됐으며, 코로나19 방역수칙 준수를 당부하는 의미로 방역지침 교육도 함께 이루어졌다고 했다.

동두천시는 매년 운영되고 있는 현장 근로자들의 안전사고 예방을 위해 안전장비·구급물품 지급 등 안전보건관리체계를 구축하고 재해방지를 위해 최선을 다하고 있다고 전했다. 

시 관계자는 “공원녹지분야의 다양한 현장에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 공원녹지 분야 기간제근로자에 대한 직무·안전교육을 정기적으로 실시해 시민에게 쾌적한 공원녹지 환경을 제공하고, 예기치 못한 안전사고에 대비하겠다”고 밝혔다.
