[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 의정부음악도서관에서 시민 누구나 함께 듣고, 함께 연주할 수 있는 음악동아리 '악동forU'를 통해 시민의 문화 활동을 지원해 왔다고 전했다. 

올해는 시민들에게 더 다양한 활동을 지원하고, 동아리 활동의 무대를 제공하기 위해 '악동forU' 참여 분야가 다양해졌고, 음악동아리 '악동forU' 참여 대상은 음악동아리 활동에 관심 있는 시민 누구나이며, 관심 분야가 같은 시민들로 동아리를 구성해 활동하게 된다고 했다. 

신청 분야는 음악 감상(클래식, 재즈), 악기 연주(개인 휴대가 가능한 기타, 바이올린, 첼로, 플릇, 클라리넷 등)이라고 했다.

의정부음악도서관은 이번 '악동forU' 활동을 통해 음악전문 공공플랫폼으로서 시민들에게 다양한 여가 활동을 지원하고, 활동의 장을 제공함으로써 자율적 시민주도 참여 문화를 조성할 것으로 기대하고 있다고 전했다.

박영애 도서관운영과장은 "동아리 운영 활성화를 위해 활동 공간을 비롯하여 분야별, 장르별 전문가의 코칭 교육, 무대 공연 기회 등 다양한 지원을 제공 할 예정"이라고 밝혔다.

동아리 가입 신청서는 도서관 방문 및 이메일로 제출할 수 있으며, 선정 결과는 개별 통보 예정이고, 자세한 사항은 음악도서관 홈페이지 및 인스타그램에서 확인하거나 담당자에게 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
