[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10년간 정보격차 해소를 위한 춘천시정부의 ‘사랑의 그린 PC’ 956대가 보급됐다고 전했다.

사랑의 그린 PC는 행정용 PC를 정비한 후 정보화 취약 계층에 보급하는 사업이며, 이를 통해 정보격차를 줄이고 폐기 예정이던 정보자원을 효율적으로 재활용하고 있다고 했다.

시정부에 따르면 2012년부터 2021년까지 사랑의 그린 PC 총 보급 물량은 956대이며, 올해도 시정부는 상반기 50대, 하반기 50대의 사랑의 그린 PC 물량을 확보했다고 전했다.

보급 대상은 비영리 사회복지시설, 한부모 가정 등이며 최근 2년간 유사 PC지원 사업 수혜자와 단체는 제외되고, 상반기 신청 기간은 오는 4월 1일까지며 읍면동 행정복지센터를 직접 방문하거나 우편 또는 전자우편으로 신청할 수 있으며, 보급대상자는 무작위 추첨방식으로 결정하며, 수혜자는 4월 중 문자로 개별 안내한다고 했다.

시정부 관계자는 “앞으로도 디지털 정보 격차 해소를 위해 다양한 사업을 추진할 것”이라고 말했다.
