[김현우 기자 = 강릉] 강릉시는 정보격차 해소와 디지털 역량을 강화하기 위한 2023년 시민 정보화 교육을 오는 3월 6일부터 실시한다고 2일 밝혔다.

코로나 19로 인해 대면 교육과 비대면 교육을 병행하여 진행해왔으나, 올해부터는 정보 취약계층의 참여도를 더욱 높일 수 있도록 전면 대면 교육으로 전환하여 상반기(3~7월), 하반기(8~12월) 동안 실시된다.

만 19세 이상의 강릉시민은 누구나 신청 가능하며, 교육 장소는 강릉시청과 포남동에 위치한 강릉정보문화진흥센터 2곳의 정보화교육장에서 각각 실시된다. 

교육과정은 컴퓨터 기초, 스마트폰 기초 등의 기초 과정부터 유튜브‧동영상 편집 등 실생활에 응용 가능한 분야의 과정까지 총 13개 과목으로 월~ 금 2시간씩 과정당 1~3주의 기간으로 운영된다.

강릉시 홈페이지 공공서비스 통합예약시스템을 통해 편리하게 교육신청이 가능하며, 기초과정은 전화접수로도 가능하다.

강릉시 관계자는 “나날이 급변하는 디지털 환경을 반영한 다양한 맞춤형 교육을 통해 시민 누구나 환경변화에 적응하고 디지털 격차를 해소하여 정보 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 내실 있는 교육을 운영하기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
