고랭지 생태순환형 윤작체계 구축시범사업은 고랭지 채소 농가를 대상으로 1년간 휴경‧윤작하고 3년간 채소류를 경작하는 4년 1기작(4cycle) 윤작체계 확립을 위해 추진하며, 윤작‧휴경지원금으로 ha당 6백만 원과 종자대 ha당 36만 원을 지원한다고 했다. 

지원 대상자는 신청일 기준 주민등록 주소지가 강릉시이며 사업 시행 직전년도 포함 최소 2년 이상(연작) 고랭지 채소(무, 배추, 양배추, 당근 등)를 재배한 농지 소유자가 대상이며, 농가당 신청면적은 0.33ha이상 5ha 이내 기준으로 지원하며 오는 18일까지 왕산면사무소에 신청하면 된다고 전했다.

강릉시 관계자는“왕산면은 고랭지 사계절 농업이 가능한 지역으로 그동안 장기간 연작으로 인해 지력이 소진되어 있어 고랭지 농업생태순환형 윤작체계를 통해 과잉생산을 억제하여 가격을 안정시키고 환경친화적 토양복원을 위해 많은 동참을 부탁드린다.”고 말했다.
