[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시는 미세먼지 주요 원인인 자동차 배출가스를 줄이기 위해 2022년도 노후경유차 조기폐차 및 매연저감장치 설치 지원사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

조기폐차 신청 대상은 정상 운행이 가능한 배출가스 5등급 경유자동차 또는 2005년 이전 배출허용기준을 적용해 제작된 도로용 3종 건설기계(덤프트럭, 콘크리트 믹서트럭, 콘크리트 펌프트럭)이며, 조기 폐차 신청 마감일(4월 8일) 기준 원주시에 6개월 이상 연속 등록, 차량 최종 소유 기간 6개월 이상 등을 충족해야 한다고 했다.

매연저감장치 신청 대상은 배출가스 5등급 경유자동차 중 공고일(3월 7일) 이전부터 원주시로 등록되어 있고 등록원부상 자동차 정기검사 유효기간이 유효한 자동차 등 조건을 충족한 차량이라고 했다.

한편, 올해는 폐차된 차량이 총중량 3.5톤 미만 승차정원 5인 이하 승용차인 경우 무공해자동차(전기자동차, 수소전기자동차)를 구매하면 50만 원을 추가 지원한다고 했다.
