[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 전국 최초의 에너지 전자화폐인 소양에너지페이 1억원이 지난해 지급됐다고 밝혔다.

춘천시정부는 조례 개정을 통해 지급 대상 범위를 확대하는 등 소양에너지페이 신청 독려에 나서고 있으며, 시정부에 따르면 2021년 소양에너지페이 지급 현황이 1,556가구, 지급액 1억원이라고 전했다.

소양에너지페이는 신재생에너지원을 활용한 자가소비형 발전설비를 설치․이용, 열원설비 설치․이용, 환경친화적 자동차 등을 이용해 온실가스 감축과 에너지 절약에 기여한 시민에게 제공하는 인센티브라고 했다.

에너지 자립도시 조성을 앞당기기 위해 시정부가 전국에서는 최초로 도입했으며, 소양에너지페이 사용자 지정 신청서를 작성해 시청 기후에너지과에 제출 후 사용자로 지정을 받으면 된다고 했다.

사용자가 되면 전용 모바일 앱에 가입하고, 포인트를 지급받아 시정부가 지정한 관내 소상공인 업소 등 가맹점에 비치된 QR코드를 전용 모바일 앱에서 사용할 수 있다고 했다. 

지급대상 범위는 기존 신재생에너지 발전설비에서 신재생에너지 열원설비(태양열, 지열)와 환경친화적 자동차(수소전기차, 전기차) 및 전기이륜차 등 온실가스 감축분야가 추가됐다고 했다.

시정부 관계자는 “전국 최초로 도입한 에너지화폐인 소양에너지페이를 많은 시민이 지급 받았으면 한다”라고 말했다.

한편 전년도에 소양에너지페이를 지급받은 시민은 별도의 신청없이 금년 3월 중 2회차분이 일괄 지급될 예정이라고 전했다.
