2억 1천 6백만 원의 예산이 투입되는 이번 사업은 천연가스 중·대형버스, 청소 차량, 콘크리트 믹서트럭 차량 등 총 18대에 대해 구매 보조금을 지원한다고 했다.

지원금액은 대형버스 1,200만 원, 대형(11t) 청소차 4,200만 원, 콘크리트 믹서트럭 4,000만 원 등으로 차종별 차등 지원한다고 했다.

신청 대상은 공고일(2월 28일) 기준 6개월 이상 계속해 원주시에 등록되어 있거나 차량의 본인 최종 소유 기간이 6개월 이상인 자이며, 오는 3월 11일까지 시청 기후에너지과 방문 및 등기우편으로 신청할 수 있다고 했다.

한편, 최근 문의가 많은 노후 경유차 조기 폐차 및 저감장치 지원사업은 오는 3월 10일부터 자동차배출가스 등급제 홈페이지를 통해 접수 예정이며, 자세한 사항은 시청 홈페이지 공고를 확인하거나 기후에너지과 미세먼지팀에 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
