가평군 저출산·고령사회정책 지원조례에 따라 입학지원금은 입학일 기준으로 가평군에 주민등록을 두고 관내 초등학교에 최초 입학하는 학생을 지원 대상으로 하며 신청일의 다음달 20일에 지급되고, 신청은 오는 3월 7일부터 5월 31일까지 신분증과 통장사본을 지참하여 주소지 관할 읍·면 행정복지센터에 방문하여 신청하면 되고 온라인 신청은 불가 하다고 전했다.
