[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 농산어촌 관광상품 발굴·육성을 위한 2022년 농산어촌관광 체험프로그램 지원사업을 공모한다고 밝혔다.

농산어촌관광 체험프로그램 사업은 강릉시 관광과에서 매년 2~3월 공모 선정하여 지원해 왔으며, 농수산물 수확체험, 산림치유 등 관광자원을 활용한 다양한 체험프로그램을 운영했다고 했다.

지원 대상 사업은 관광객들이 직접 체험하고 즐기는 형태의 마을단위 농산어촌 체험프로그램, 가족과 함께하는 체험프로그램, 소규모 관광객 유치 프로그램 등으로, 강릉시에 소재를 둔 관광 관련 비영리 법인 또는 비영리 단체면 신청 가능하고, 오는 3월 4일까지 강릉시청 1층 관광과 민원창구에서 방문 접수하거나 우편접수 할 수 있다고 전했다. 

강릉시는 공모를 통해 선정된 사업에 3~5백만 원의 보조금을 지원하고 코로나19 상황에 따른 방역 및 대응계획을 준수하여, 주관 마을 및 단체별로 체험프로그램을 운영할 계획이라고 전했다.

작년에도 농산어촌관광 체험프로그램 지원사업을 통해 10개 단체가 선정되어 개복숭아 따기 체험, 산림휴양치유체험프로그램, 농촌체험캠프 등 다양한 활동을 운영했다고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“오미크론 변이 대확산으로 조심스러운 상황이지만, 위드코로나 시대에 맞는 소규모, 가족 단위의 다양한 체험 관광 프로그램 활성화를 통해 침체된 농산어촌 경기에 작게나마 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.
