[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 근로자의 산업안전보건관리를 체계적이고 전문적으로 관리하기 위한 계획을 수립하고, 근로자들을 대상으로 2022년 1분기 산업안전보건교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 사업장에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고 예방을 위해 현업근로자 350여 명을 대상으로 15일부터 4일동안 단오전수교육관에서 실시하며, 사업장 내 유해·위험요인에 의한 산업안전 사고 예방에 관한 사항 등 중대재해 발생 위험에 대비한 내용을 교육할 예정이라고 했다.

※현업근로자: 환경관리원, 도로관리원, 현장실무원, 행정실무원(현장업무담당)

특히 2019년부터 환경관리원 등 현업근로자 대상으로 산업안전보건교육을 실시한 결과 2020년 산업재해 재해자 수가 11%, 2021년 29% 각각 감소하고 있으며, 향후 지속적인 교육을 통한 근로자 안전의식 고취 및 안전 및 보건관리 의무이행을 강화하여 쾌적한 작업환경 조성 및 무재해 현장관리에 최선을 다할 계획이라고 했다.

최철순 행정지원과장은“「중대재해처벌법」시행에 따라 각 사업장별 안전․보건 관리 점검을 더욱 강화하고, 앞으로도 중대재해 예방에 선제적으로 대응하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
