[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 219억을 투입해 5,703개 일자리를 창출하기 위한 2022년 노인 일자리 및 사회활동 지원사업을 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.

노인일자리 사업은 스마일 남대천 지킴이, 스마일 학교 가꿈이 등 공익사업과 노인 경력을 활용해 서비스를 제공하는 아동 노인복지 도우미, 스마일 따뜻한 동행 등의 사회 서비스형 사업이 있으며, 또한, 한송정 카페, 시니어 마트 등 매장사업단을 운영해 수익을 창출하는 시장형 사업도 운영한다고 했다.

강릉시에서 직접 운영하는 공익사업 외에도 강릉시니어클럽, (사)대한노인회 강릉시지회, 유경노인복지센터, 강릉종합사회복지관 4곳의 수행기관에서도 공익사업을 담당하고 있다고 전했다.

강릉시 관계자는“노인일자리 사업량을 늘리는 것도 중요하지만 특히 중요한 것은 양질의 일자리 개발”이라며 은퇴 노인의 경력을 살리고 시민에게는 공공서비스를 제공할 수 있는 사회 서비스형 일자리 발굴에 힘쓸 예정”이라고 밝혔다.
