[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시는 코로나19 장기화로 어려움을 겪는 상황에서도 지난 한 해 동안 43개의 기관 표창을 받아 시정의 우수성을 인정받았다고 밝혔다.

중앙부처에서 19개, 강원도에서 24개의 표창을 받는 등 도내뿐만 아니라 중앙부처에서도 좋은 성적을 거뒀다고 전했다.

주요 수상 분야는 다음과 같다.

∘ 경제·문화: 2021년 지역노사민정협력 우수자치단체 최우수상(고용노동부장관) / 2021년도 문화재 보존관리 유공자 및 단체 선정(문화재청장)

∘ 보건·복지: 2021년 코로나19 대응 유공 기관(강원도지사)

∘ 민원·행정: 2021년 대규모 총조사 업무 우수 기관(기획재정부장관) / 2021년 원스톱 시군구 민원창구 우수기관(행정안전부장관)

∘ 농업·축산: 2021년 농업기술보급혁신 우수사례 경진 우수상(농촌진흥청장)

이 외에도 2021년 공공기관 청렴도 평가에서 2등급(2020년 4등급), 2021년 자체 감사 활동 평가 B등급(2020년 C등급)을 받아 청렴 분야에서도 높은 평가를 받았다고 전했다.

또한, 중앙부처에서 주관한 공모사업에도 활발히 참여해 45개의 사업에 선정, 890억 원의 국·도비를 확보해 지방채 발행 등으로 어려웠던 시정 운영에 큰 보탬이 됐다고 했다.

특히 디지털 헬스케어산업 지원센터 건립, 지역산업 맞춤형 일자리 창출, 원주시 지능형 교통체계 ITS 구축, 2021년 강원도 마을공동체 지원사업, 특산자원 융복합 기술 지원사업, 원주시 스마트타운 챌린지, 2022 대한민국 독서대전 등 다양한 분야에서 두각을 나타냈다고 했다.

원주시 관계자는 “올해도 원주시의 발전과 시민의 복지 향상 등을 위해 최선을 다한다면 다양한 분야에서 훌륭한 성과를 낼 수 있을 것으로 본다.”라고 말했다.
