[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 2월 7일부터 원주시는 오미크론 변이바이러스 확산에 따른 지역사회 감염 예방을 위해 원주시 무료생활법률상담실 운영을 일시 중단한다고 밝혔다.

원주시 무료생활법률상담실은 매주 월요일마다 생활법률상담관으로 위촉된 변호사(고문변호사)와 군 법무관이 시민의 생활과 관련된 행정·민사·형사·가사 사건에 관한 사항과 시의 행정처분 관련 법률사항 등에 대해 대면상담을 해왔다고 했다.

하지만 원주시는 설 연휴 기간 이후 코로나19 확진 환자가 급증함에 따라 일시 중단 후 확산 추이를 지켜본 뒤 재개하기로 했다고 전했다.
