[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 최근 타 시군에서 발생한 아파트 공사장 붕괴 및 화재사고에 따라 유사 사고를 미연에 방지하기 위해 지역 내 아파트 공사 현장에 대해 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 점검은 지난 21일부터 25일까지 관내 대형 건축공사장 10곳을 대상으로 진행됐으며, 점검단은 건축사 등 민간 전문가를 포함한 민‧관 합동으로 구성됐다고 했다. 

주요 점검 내용은 안전관리 부문(작업자 안전조치 적정 여부, 안전시설 적정 설치, 화재예방시설 구비 등)과 품질관리 부문(각종 자재 품질 확인, 공정관리 적정 여부 등) 및 코로나19 방역 관리 등이라고 했다.

강릉시는 점검 결과 안전난간 및 화재예방시설 미흡 등 안전관리 31건, 지하층 누수 등 품질관리 14건을 적발했다고 전했다.
