[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2022년 1월 21일, 한국청과(주)·춘천중앙청과(주)는 춘천YMCA 강원도가정위탁지원센터에 방문, 다가오는 설을 맞이하여 강원도 내 위탁가정에 명절선물을 전달해달라며 과일 400박스 1600만원 상당을 기탁하였다고 밝혔다. 

한국청과(주)·춘천중앙청과(주)는 코로나19의 장기화로 인해 경제가 어려운 시기임에도 불구하고 강원도 내 위탁아동들을 위해 지난 2019년 1월부터 명절마다 지속적인 후원을 이어가고 있어 매서운 한파를 따뜻한 온정의 손길로 녹이고 있다고 전했다.

남궁제정 관장은 “강원도내 위탁아동들의 복지향상을 위해 지속적으로 힘써주시는 한국청과(주)와 춘천중앙청과(주)의 관심과 후원에 감사드리며, 본 물품은 후원해주시분들의 따뜻한 마음과 함께 도내 위탁가정에 잘 전달하도록 하겠다.”라며 감사함을 전했다.

과일선물세트는 강원도 내 18개 시·군의 위탁가정에 전달하여 따뜻하고 풍요로운 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 지원할 예정이라고 했다. 

강원도가정위탁지원센터는 2003년 개소하여 지난 2017년 1월 1일부터 춘천YMCA에서 위탁하고 있는 보건복지부·강원도 지정 아동복지전담기관이며, 현재 강원도 내 18개 시․군의 위탁아동(845명) 및 사후관리아동(679명)을 지원하고 있고, 가정위탁제도는 부모의 학대·방임·빈곤 등의 사정으로 친가정에서 아동을 양육할 수 없는 경우, 해당 아동에게 아동복지법이 정하는 기준에 적합한 가정에서 일정기간 보호받을 수 있도록 서비스를 제공한다고 전했다.
