[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시가 미세먼지 주요 발생 원인인 경유 자동차 배출가스를 줄이기 위해 2022년도 LPG 화물차 신차 구입 지원사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

3억 3천 8백만 원의 예산이 투입되는 이 사업은 총 169대에 대해 대당 200만 원을 지원하고, 신청 대상은 경유 자동차를 폐차 후 LPG 1톤 화물차를 신차 구입할 예정인 소유자 또는 기관이며, 신청 마감일 기준 원주시에 6개월 이상 계속 등록되어 있고 최종소유자의 차량 소유 기간 6개월을 충족해야 한다고 했다.

1월 20일부터 오는 2월 4일까지 시청 기후에너지과에서 등기우편 접수하고, 마지막 날인 2월 4일에는 10시부터 17시까지 시청 1층 임시민원실에서 방문 접수한다고 했다.

아울러 조기폐차 및 저감장치 지원사업 관련해 환경부에서 업무처리 지침이 확정되는 대로 대상 차주에게 사업 안내문을 발송할 예정이며, 자세한 사항은 시청 홈페이지 공고를 확인하거나 기후에너지과 미세먼지팀에 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
