[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 2022년 1월 자동차세 연납 납부의 달을 맞아 2월 3일까지 납부 기간을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

자동차세 연납제도는 자동차세 연 세액을 한꺼번에 납부하는 제도로, 1월에 연납을 하는 경우, 2월에서 12월까지 11개월분의 자동차세에 대하여 10%(연세액의 9.16%)를 공제해 준다고 했다.

연납 신청은 오는 2월 3일까지 읍·면·동주민센터, 시청 세무과로 전화 또는 방문 신청하거나 지방세포털사이트 위택스에서 신청·납부하면 된다고 했다.

전년도에 연납으로 납부한 경우에는 별도의 신청 없이 자동으로 연납 공제가 적용된 납부서가 발송되고, 납부는 전국 모든 금융기관을 방문하거나, 은행 CD/ATM에서 납부할 수 있다고 했다. 

금융기관을 방문하지 않고 고지서 없이도 납부가 가능하며 인터넷(위택스·지로), 모바일 스마트위택스, 가상계좌, ARS을 이용하여 신용카드 결제, 계좌이체 하는 방법으로도 납부가 가능하며, 기타 자세한 내용은 세무과로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
