[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 2월 3일까지 원주시는 유원시설업 불법 영업을 근절하기 위해 미신고(허가) 유원시설업 자진신고 기간을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

유원시설업을 경영하려는 자는 「관광진흥법」에 따라 관할 지자체에 신고하거나 허가를 받아야 한다고 전했다.

하지만 관련 법에 대한 인식 부족으로 붕붕뜀틀(트램펄린), 미니모험놀이, 수중모험놀이, 워터슬라이드 등 유기시설(기구)을 불법 운영하는 사례가 빈번한 것으로 확인됐다고 했다.

이에 원주시는 자진신고 기간 종료 후 키즈카페 및 야영장, 펜션, 찜질방, 음식점 등 유원시설업 사업장을 대상으로 특별점검을 시행하고 적발 시 관련 법에 따라 처분할 예정이라고 했다.

자진신고 기간 내 신고하면 형사처벌이나 행정처분이 면제되고, 자세한 신고 또는 허가신청 방법은 시청 홈페이지(민원안내>민원편람>민원처리기준표) 확인하거나 관광정책과 관광기획팀에 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
