대상 사업은 수질보전 홍보·교육·캠페인, 하천구간 내 쓰레기 수거 및 생태계 교란종 제거 등 하천 생태계 건강성에 도움이 되는 사업, 오염물질 배출감시 및 모니터링 활동 등 한강상수원 수질보전에 크게 기여한다고 인정되는 사업이라고 했다.
