강원경찰청 관계자는 해맞이 전체 통행량은 지난해 대비 증가할 것으로 예상되는 만큼 출발전 교통정보와 기상정보를 미리 확인하여 주시고, 연일 코로나19의 지속적인 확산과 오미크론 변이 바이러스 발생에 따른 집단감염이 이어지고 있어 이번 해맞이는 가급적 자제하여 주시기를 당부했다.
