대한민국 주거복지문화대상은 주거복지문화운동본부가 주최하고 행정안전부가 후원하는 대회로, 주거약자 보호와 주거복지 실현을 위해 헌신한 단체·기관·시민을 발굴하여 시상하는 행사라고 했다.

이번 행사에서 GH는 사회적 약자를 위해 다양한 주거복지 사업을 추진한 공로를 인정받아 대상을 수상했으며, GH는 2018년 제1회 대회가 시행된 이후 네 번 연속으로 수상했다고 전했다.

주거 취약계층의 난방비·전기료 절감을 위한 햇살하우징사업, 장애인의 정주환경 개선을 위해 편의시설 설치를 지원하는 중증장애인 주택개조사업, 주거복지 사각지대에 놓인 저소득층을 위해 주택 개량을 지원하는 G-하우징 사업 등이 높은 평가를 받았다고 했다.

안태준 GH 사장 직무대행은“경기도민의 주거문제를 해결하기 위해 더욱 촘촘한 주거서비스를 제공하는 공공서비스 기관으로 거듭나겠다”고 밝혔다.
