[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 26일부터 28일까지 강원도평생교육진흥원은 사상 처음 온라인으로 개최한 제5회 강원도 평생학습박람회(제7회 홍천군 평생학습축제 공동개최)를 성공적으로 마쳤다고 밝혔다.

이번 박람회는 비대면 평생학습의 새로운 가능성을 찾고 위드코로나, 포스트코로나를 위한 새로운 평생학습시대를 여는 의미로써 사상 처음 전면 온라인으로 개최했다고 전했다. 

모든 평생학습정보를 온라인 콘텐츠화 하여 전용 홈페이지, 가상박람회장에 전시하고, 유튜브, SNS 등을 통한 실시간 강연 및 공연, 이벤트 등을 진행하여 도민에게 새로운 기술과 융합된 평생학습으로 눈과 귀가 즐거운 축제의 장을 선사했다고 했다.

앞서 지난 15일 홈페이지 사전오픈부터 방구석 평생학습 체험 사전신청 700명이 이틀 만에 마감되는 등 시작 전부터 높은 관심 속에서 시작했다고 전했다.

지난 11월 26일부터 28일까지 3일간 진행된 이번 박람회에는 총 5,891명이 홈페이지에 방문했고 온라인콘텐츠 조회수 1,445,344회, 실시간 스트리밍(유튜브) 조회수 17,220회를 기록했으며, 체험프로그램에 1,900여명, SNS, 홈페이지 및 가상박람회장 이벤트에 3,000여명이 참가하여 평생학습에 대한 강원도민의 관심과 열정을 확인할 수 있었다고 했다.

강원도평생교육진흥원 원장직무대행 김석중은 “사상 처음이자 전국 최초로 메타버스 기반의 온라인 평생학습박람회를 성공적으로 개최하여 도민의 평생학습에 대한 열망과 강원도 평생학습의 저력을 확인할 수 있었고, 앞으로 위드코로나, 포스트코로나 시대에 적합한 강원도 평생학습의 가능성을 확인할 수 있는 소중한 기회였다. 또한 박람회에 참여한 모든 도민과 평생학습기관 및 관계자에 감사의 인사를 전한다.”고 밝혔다.
