2022년도에 판매되는 종량제 봉투의 색상을 변경하고 가장 많이 판매되는 20ℓ봉투를 기준으로 현 400원에서 600원으로 150% 인상되나, 주민 부담을 고려해 판매가격을 2022년 500원 2023년 600원 2년간 단계적 인상을 추진할 계획이며, 또한 음식물쓰레기 1ℓ봉투제작, 100ℓ 종량제봉투 제작중단 등의 판매정책이 일부 변경됐다고 했다.

아울러 가평군 관계자는 “생활쓰레기 처리비 재정 부담에 따라 불가피하게 종량제봉투 가격을 인상하게 된 것에 대해 주민들의 많은 이해와 협조를 부탁드린다.”고 말했다.
