[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] GH는 혁신기술을 보유한 유망기업에게 실증기회를 제공하는 ‘공공 테스트베드 지원 사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

본 사업은 GH가 추진하고 있는 ‘경기도 내 고부가가치 일자리 창출 전략’ 중 하나이며, GH는 4차 산업혁명을 주도하는 혁신기술 보유 기업이 시장에 진입하기 전에 제품이나 기술 서비스를 검증할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다고 했다.

GH가 올해 추진하는 공공 테스트베드 지원 사업은 ‘인공지능(AI) 기술을 활용한 공사 현장의 재난·안전사고 예방 기술 실증’ 이고, 인공지능(AI)을 활용, 안전사고 위험이 존재하는 공사 현장 내 작업자의 이상행동을 감지하여 안전사고로 이어지는 것을 방지하는 기술의 실증이 주요 목표라고 전했다. 

이번 과제는 과학기술정보통신부가 시행하는 「AI기술 실증 테스트베드 조성 사업」의 일환으로 본 사업의 관리기관인 경기도경제과학진흥원(이하 경과원)과 GH가 협업하여 추진하고, 경과원은 공모 절차를 통하여 기술개발기업을 선정하고 GH가 실증 테스트 장소를 제공하는 방식으로 추진된다고 했다. 

이번 공모 과제는 딥러닝 특화  인공지능 기술 중소벤처기업인 (주)오픈시스넷과 클라우드 기반 보안솔루션 개발 업체 ㈜엔드포인트랩이 최종 선정되어 참여한다고 했다.

GH는 현재 조성중인 판교 제2테크노밸리 공사 현장의 재난·안전사고를 예방하면서도 판교테크노밸리와 연계한 시너지 효과를 고려하여 공사가 제2판교에 건립 중인 글로벌비즈센터 신축 현장을 테스트베드 장소로 선정했다고 전했다. 

장기진 GH 경제진흥본부장은 “4차 산업혁명 시대 유망기업의 기술과 제품이 시장에 활발히 진입할 수 있도록 공공기관으로서 최적의 실증 공간 제공을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 것”이라며, “앞으로도 공사가 유망 기업의 성장을 통한 양질의 일자리 창출에  기여할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.” 고 밝혔다. 

한편 공사는 이번 공공 테스트베드 과제를 지원하고 참여 기업과의 피드백을  통하여 공공테스트베드 지원 사업을 보완하고 개선해 나갈 계획이라고 전했다.
