[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 30일, 동두천시학교밖청소년지원센터 ‘동두천시꿈드림팀’이 ‘경기도 북부권역 청소년 e스포츠대회’에서 경기도상의 영광을 안았다고 밝혔다. 

2021년 경기도 북부권역 청소년e스포츠 대회는 경기도청소년활동진흥센터에서 주관하고 경기도와 (재)대건청소년회에서 주최한 행사로, 경기북부 총 10개 지역의 64개 팀이 참가하여 게임 실력과 팀워크를 겨루었고, ‘동두천시꿈드림팀’은 학교 밖 청소년과 고등학교 재학 중인 청소년 5명이 팀을 이루어 참가하여 최종 우승의 결과를 획득했다고 말했다.

지난 11일 청소년단체인 법사랑위원 동두천지구협의회에서는 ‘청소년e스포츠대회’에 참석한 ‘동두천시 꿈드림팀’을 격려하고자 팀복을 후원하였다고 전했다. 

법사랑위원 동두천지구협의회 회장은 “코로나19로 인한 어려운 상황에서도 청소년들이 꿈을 향해 나아갈 수 있도록 앞으로도 지속적인 후원을 하고 싶다”고 밝혔다. 

‘동두천시꿈드림팀’박선우 청소년은 “저의 재능을 발휘할 수 있는 기회를 주신 동두천시 꿈드림 선생님들께 감사드리며, 앞으로도 학교 밖 청소년과 학교 안 청소년들이 능력을 발휘할 수 있는 기회가 더욱 많아졌으면 좋겠다”라고 소감을 전했다.
