자격취득프로그램 ‘자동차 운전면허취득’지원은 동두천시학교밖청소년지원센터에 등록된 만 18세 이상 청소년이 계획서를 제출하면, 심사를 통해 6명을 선발하여‘자동차 운전면허취득’에 필요한 비용을 지원하고, 신청 및 계획서 제출기간은 지난 8월 27일부터 9월 1일까지이며, 선발된 학교 밖 청소년은 오는 9월 3일부터 10월 2일까지 운전면허취득 과정을 이행하게 된다고 했다.

센터 관계자는 “2021년 학교 밖 청소년 수요조사를 반영하여‘자동차 운전면허취득’지원을 확대했으며, 학교 밖 청소년들이 건강한 사회구성원으로 성장하도록 조력하겠다”고 전했다.

동두천시학교밖청소년지원센터에서는 학교 밖 청소년을 위해 상담, 검정고시 및 대학진학 지원, 자격증 취득, 직업체험, 건강검진 등 다양한 영역에서 맞춤형 서비스를 지원하고 있으며, 기타 문의 및 신청은 카카오톡채널 또는 동두천시청소년지원센터 꿈드림을 통해 할 수 있다고 했다.
