[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3일 포천시의회 의원들과 의회사무과 직원들은 영중면 금주리 소재 사과 농가를 찾아 농촌 일손돕기를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 봉사활동은 코로나19 장기화로 일손이 부족해진 농가를 돕기 위해 사과 수확을 돕고, 일손 부족으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농가의 애로사항 등을 청취하며 소통하는 자리를 가졌다고 했다.

의장 직무대리 송상국 부의장은 “수확철 일손 부족으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농가에 조금이나마 보탬이 되길 바란다”며 “농가의 애로사항에 귀 기울이고 농촌 인력난 극복을 위해 지속적인 노력을 기울이겠다”고 말했다.
