이번 공동학술대회는 4차 산업혁명에 더해 포스트코로나 시대를 맞이하는 급격한 환경변화 속에서 지방정부의 자치역량을 어떻게 높일 것인가에 대한 주제로 창의교육과 행정혁신 두 부문의 주제 발표와 열띤 토론이 진행됐다고 했다.

1부는 Digtal 시대, 4차 산업혁명 시대의 특성과 교육의 변화에 따른 ‘미래교육의 방향과 과제’를 주제로 서울대학교 교육학과 교수이자 미래교육혁신연구센터장을 역임하고 있는 임철일 교수가 4차 산업혁명시대에 필요한 교육과정과 방법론을 제시했으며, 비상교육GEO컴퍼니의 노중일 대표가 ‘4차 산업혁명시대, Edutech 혁신과 창의교육’을 주제로 코로나19로 가속화된 AI(인공지능) 등의 교육기술 발전에 대한 설명과 창의교육 여건 변화에 필요한 교수자의 역량강화를 강조했다고 했다.

2부는 한국지방자치학회 박기관 회장이 코로나19로 인한 뉴노멀 시대의 도래와 4차 산업혁명에 따른 디지털 정부로의 전환이라는 환경변화 속에서 ‘지방정부의 이슈와 혁신방향’이라는 주제로 발표, 다음으로 신한대 행정학과 교수이자 대통령소속 자치분과위원회 위원인 장인봉 교수가 ‘의정부시의 행정혁신의 실증분석과 정책제언’이라는 주제로 10여 년의 의정부시 행정혁신에 대한 실증 분석과 발전방향에 대한 발표를 한 후 열띤 토론이 이어졌다고 했다.
