문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국도서관협회에서 주관하는 이번 사업은 강연은 물론 주제와 관련된 지역을 탐방하는 '길 위의 인문학'사업으로 이날 참가자들은 신미식 강사 '사진에 미친 놈, 신미식'의 저자와 함께 보산역사 옛 골목길 주변과 변화된 공방거리, 음식문화거리를 촬영하는 시간을 가졌다고 했다.
