[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 31일부터 10월 14일까지 포천시는 2개월에 걸쳐 포천시립선단도서관에서 ‘팬데믹 시대 치유를 위한 길 위의 인문학’을 성황리에 마쳤다고 밝혔다. 

길 위의 인문학은 매년 한국도서관협회 주관으로 펼쳐지는 사업으로, 선단도서관의 주제는 코로나 팬데믹 극복을 위해 따뜻하게 소통하고 공감하는 치유의 계기로 만들고자 진행했고, 사회적 거리두기를 준수하며 비대면으로 진행되었음에도 총 10회, 156명이 참여해 높은 참여율을 보였다고 했다.

비대면 강의로 진행된 ‘길 위의 인문학’의 강사로는 대진대학교 문헌정보학과 이상복 교수, 대진대학교 행정학과 김정완 교수, 포천시청 최동원 학예연구사가 참여해 포천의 정신유산, 자연유산에 대한 이야기를 펼치며 공동체와 소통을 통해 코로나19에 대한 상실을 치유할 수 있도록 했다고 전했다.

올해 2월 개관한 선단도서관은 이번 길 위의 인문학을 비롯해 ‘웹소설 쓰기’, ‘독서토론 심화과정’, ‘작곡이 처음인데 노래를 만들 수 있다고요?’, ‘서미영 시인의 찾아가는 전시회’ 등 다양한 프로그램을 진행해 시민에게 친숙한 도서관 이미지를 구축하고자 노력하고 있다고 밝혔다.
