[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 10월 8일, 캠코와 한국부동산분석학회는 캠코양재타워에서 '2021년 캠코․한국부동산분석학회 정책 세미나'를 공동 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

세미나에서는 전주대 임미화 교수 진행으로 '국유재산 개발을 위한 공공기관의 역할' 국토연구원 이승욱 센터장, '국유재산개발의 국내외 사례 및 시사점' 부동산도서관 정은상 대표, '캠코 국유재산개발 성과 및 발전방향' 캠코연구소 송용철 박사에 대한 주제발표와 의견 교환이 이뤄졌다고 했다.

활용도 낮은 국유재산 등의 가치를 높이기 위해 2004년 위탁개발제도를 도입한 캠코는 ‘나라키움 저동빌딩’ 등 현재까지 40여 건의 공공개발 사업을 성공적으로 수행한 바 있으며, 이번 세미나는 그간 사업성과를 점검하고 향후 캠코의 역할과 나아 갈 방향을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다고 말했다. 

패널 참여자로는 캠코 공공개발 남궁 영 본부장, 건국대학교 이현석 교수, 경기대학교 김진유 교수, ㈜P&D 파트너스 이명범 대표, 현대건설 현길용 부장이 함께해 의견을 보탰다고 했다.

남궁 영 캠코 공공개발본부장은 “전문가들과 함께해 공공개발사업 전반에 대해 심도있는 논의를 할 수 있었다”며, “앞으로도 캠코는 교류와 협력의 폭을 넓혀감으로써 공공 디벨로퍼로서 ‘국가자산에 가치를 더하는 리딩 플랫폼’ 역할을 충실히 수행해 갈 것”이라고 말했다. 

이번 세미나는 국책연구기관, 유관 협회 등 공공개발 사업에 관심 있는 기관을 위해 생중계됐으며, 세미나 영상은 유튜브 채널에서 다시 시청할 수 있다고 했다.

한편, 캠코는 싱크탱크로서 내부 경영컨설팅 전담 조직인 ‘캠코연구소’를 통해 공공개발사업 관련 조사연구, 국·공유재산 개발 연구, 부동산 시장 및 정책 분석 등 국가자산 가치 제고를 위한 혁신 방안을 모색하고 있다고 전했다.
