이 행사는 의정부청년회의소에서 코로나19로 지친 한부모가정을 위해 생활용품이 들어간 소福소福 희망함 선물세트 55개를 정성스럽게 준비했다고 말했다. 

김신 의정부청년회의소 회장은 “코로나19로 힘든 한부모가정들이 이웃들의 훈훈한 정을 느끼며 힘을 얻도록 도와주고 싶었다며 앞으로도 계속 소외되는 이웃이 없도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

김현숙 흥선동 마을복지계획 추진단장은 “코로나19로 인해 홀로 아이를 키워야 하는 한부모가족은 누구보다 어려운 상태에 처해 있으며, 복지사각지대 발굴과 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다. 

의정부청년회의소는 한국청년회의소의 지회로서 한국청년회의소는 전체 4만3천여 명의 청년지도자 양성 단체로 국제적 민간외교와 각종 국내‧외 봉사활동 등 다양한 활동을 펼치고 있다고 했다.
