[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 1일 가평군사회적경제협의회가 군청 대회의실에서 보고대회 및 발대식 개최식을 갖고 본격행보에 나선다고 밝혔다.

사회적경제는 사회 구성원간의 협력을 바탕으로 재화와 용역의 생산과 판매를 통해 사회적 가치를 창출하는 민간분야의 모든 경제적 활동을 말하며, 현재 경기도는 지역 경제와 사회적경제 활성화를 위해 기업 모델을 적극 발굴·육성하고 있으며 가평군사회적경제협의회도 이날 발대식을 통해 지역발전에 이바지할 것으로 보인다고 말했다.  

이날 발대식에는 문보경 경기도사회적경제센터장, 김정원 경기도협동조합협의회 선임대표, 전민석 남양주시 사회적경제지원센터장, 채성수 사회적협동조합공감21 이사장, 김정현 진로진학지원센터사회적협동조합장 등 지역 내 사회적기업 관계자들이 참석했다고 했다. 

가평군사회적경제협의회는 지난 4월부터 5월까지 1~2차 회의를 거쳐 발대식을 추진하게 됐고 도 사회적경제센터 및 유관단체와 협업, 사업공유, 정보교류 등 수익사업을 위한 연대에 중점을 두며, 이어 지자체와의 관계는 민간주도의 협의체로서 자립, 자율을 바탕으로 협력할 예정이라고 했다. 

문보경 경기도사회적경제센터장은 축사에서 “경기도사회적경제센터는 이 시간 이후로 가평발전을 위해 같이 고민하고 적극 지원할 수 있도록 노력하겠다. 앞으로도 응원하겠다”고 밝혔다.  

김정원 경기도협동조합협의회 선임대표는 “발대식을 진심으로 축하드린다. 민간차원에서 사회적경제가 더욱 더 발전할 수 있도록 상호협력하고 좋은 것은 서로 나눌 수 있도록 하겠다”고 전했다.  

채성수 가평군사회적경제협의회 추진위원장은 “사회적경제는 양극화해소, 지역사회 활성화 등 큰 가치를 갖고 나아가고 있지만 군 단위 속에서는 사회적 기반 조직이 열악한 것은 사실이다. 하지만 이번 계기를 통해 상호연대, 친목을 갖고 같은 방향을 바라보며 발전할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 전했다. 

한편 지역에서는 협동조합, 사회적협동조합, 사회적기업, 마을기업 등으로 가평 농‧특산물, 교육, 한지, 한과, 예술학교, 조청, 숙박업소 등 다양한 아이템을 선정해 일자리창출과 수익구조를 확대해가고 있다고 했다.
