[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 의정부시는 취업에 어려움을 겪고 있는 시니어 세대를 위한 맞춤형 직업교육으로 ‘소방안전 2급 자격증 과정’의 참여대상자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

참여대상은 주민등록상 의정부시에 거주하는 만 55세 이상부터 만 65세 이하 소방안전관리 취업희망자로 취업 의지 등을 심사하여 15명을 선발할 계획이라고 말했다.

선발된 교육대상자는 오는 7월 1일부터 8월 31일 동안 총 4일간 교육에 참여하여 이론과 실습을 거쳐 시험에 응시하여야 하며 자격취득과정을 통해 국가자격 ‘소방안전 2급 자격증’을 취득하게 되며, 또한 교육수료와 시험 응시 후 교육비 지원과 참여 수당을 지원받게 되며 맞춤형 취업알선과 지속적인 취업관련 서비스를 제공받게 된다고 했다.

일자리정책과장은 “코로나19로 어려운 경제상황 속에 시니어세대의 취업난이 가중됨에 따라 직업훈련 기회의 확대와 더불어 교육수료 후 취업에 성공할 때까지 지속적인 사후관리를 통하여 안정된 경제생활에 대한 자신감 향상에 도움이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다. 

참여 희망자는 오는 6월 1일부터 6월 15일까지 의정부일자리센터로 직접 방문하여 접수하면 된다고 했다.
