참여 희망자는 오는 2월 7일부터 18일까지 의정부일자리센터로 직접 방문해 접수하면 되고, 참여 대상은 의정부시에 주소를 둔 만 55세 이상 65세 이하 시민으로, 국가자격증 취득 후 요양보호사로 취업할 의지가 높은 15명을 서류 접수 및 면접을 통해 선발한다고 했다.

본 교육과정에 선발된 대상자는 교육비 지원 및 참여 수당을 지원받을 뿐만 아니라 맞춤형 취업 알선과 지속적인 취업 관련 서비스를 제공받게 된다고 전했다.
