복지로 홈페이지를 통한 온라인 신청이 우선 시작되었으며, 온라인 신청은 지난 5월 10일부터 5월 28일 오후 10시까지 홀짝제 출생연도 끝자리로 운영된다고 했다.

현장 방문신청은 오는 5월 17일부터 6월 4일까지로 주소지 관할 주민센터에서 가능하다고 했다.

한시 생계지원금은 '코로나19로 최근 소득이 감소하고 기준중위소득이 75% 이하(4인가구 365만7천 원)이면서 재산이 중소도시 기준 3억5천만 원 이하인 저소득 가구를 대상으로 하며, 가구원 수에 상관없이 가구당 1회, 50만 원을 지급한다고 했다.

단, 기초생활보장(생계급여)·긴급복지(생계지원) 대상자와 4차 재난지원금 대상자(긴급고용안정지원금·버팀목플러스자금·소득안정지원자금 등)는 대상에서 제외된다고 했다.
