[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 29일 직장․공장새마을운동양주시협의회는 양주2동 관내 공원에 있는 운동기구를 대상으로 소독과 방역 봉사를 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 봉사에는 이응수 새마을지도자양주2동협의회장, 한순옥 양주2동새마을부녀회장, 황점연 감사, 방흥식 총무 등 10여 명이 동참했으며 방역 봉사는 공원내 설치된 각종 운동기구를 꼼꼼하게 소독 및 방역하고 주변에 버려진 오물은 일반 종량제 봉투에 담아서 직접 처리를 했다고 전했다.

오수영 회장은 “ 최근 코로나19로 집안에만 있던 시민들이 날씨가 따뜻해짐에따라 가까운 공원을 찾아서 운동기구를 많이 사용하는데 많은 람들이 사용하는 운동기구를 소독 및 방역할 필요가 있다고 생각되어 봉사를 하게되었고 앞으로도 주기적으로 계속해 나가겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
