이날 캠페인에는 황점연․구자삼 감사, 방흥식 총무, 태영권 홍보이사, 심남철 홍보부장 등 10여 명이 참석했고, 이번 행사에 시민들에게 나누어준 1,000장의 마스크(KF-80)는 무림농원의 정진국 대표가 흔쾌히 후원했다고 전했다.

오수영 회장은 “우리주변에 아직도 코로나19가 종식되지 않아 마음이 놓이지 않아서 다중밀집지역을 오고가는 시민들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 마스크 나눔 행사를 하게 되었고 다음달에는 덕계역, 덕정역에서 캠페인을 하겠다”고 말했다.  

한편 직장․공장새마을운동양주시협의회는 지난 4월부터 지금까지 읍면동 새마을부녀회와 주민자치원원회에 마스크 10,000장을 기부했다고 밝혔다.
