[김현우 기자 = 강릉] 강릉시는 관내 자동심장충격기 설치기관 점검을 14일부터 오는 18일까지 실시한다고 밝혔다.

500세대 이상 공동주택, 공공보건의료기관, 의료기관에서 운용 중인 구급차, 20톤 이상의 선박 등 「응급의료에 관한 법률」에 따라 의무 설치기관 115개소가 점검대상이며, 점검 내용은 설치 상태, 관리책임자 지정 및 교육 이수 여부 및 관련 법령 준수 여부 등을 점검한다.

점검 결과 경미한 위반 사항에 대해서는 현장 지도를 실시하며, 미설치 기관에 대해서는 설치안내 및 법령 사항 준수에 대해 지도할 계획이다.

강릉시는 그동안 '자동심장충격기 보급지원 사업'을 통해 2018년부터 공공기관에 18개의 심장충격기를 지원하였으며, 앞으로도 지속적으로 보급할 계획이다.

강릉시 관계자는“자동심장충격기는 위급 상황 시 무엇보다 필요한 장비로 지속적인 실태 점검으로 응급상황 시 신속히 대처할 수 있도록 하겠다”며, “코로나19로 인해 진행하지 못한 심폐소생술 교육을 내년 상반기부터 실시할 계획”이라고 말했다.
