[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원]  지난 17일 원주시축구협회는 원주종합운동장에서 열린 제13회 원주사랑 낫소컵 슈퍼리그 축구대회 개회식에서 자동심장충격기 3대를 원주시에 기부했다고 전했다.

자동심장충격기는 혁신도시 체육공원 축구장과 환경체육단지 축구장, 문막생활체육시설 축구장에 각각 설치돼 운동 중에 발생할 수 있는 위급상황에 대처하는 데 사용될 예정이며, 원주시축구협회는 21개 클럽, 1,900여 명의 동호인으로 구성됐으며, 3월부터 8개월간 59개팀 1,450명이 참가하는 제13회 원주사랑 낫소컵 슈퍼리그 축구대회를 운영하고 있다고 했다.

최병준 회장은 “축구를 비롯해 생활체육을 사랑하는 원주시민의 소중한 생명과 건강을 위해 자동심장충격기를 기부하게 됐다.”라며, “앞으로도 시민들의 건강과 원주시 체육발전을 위해 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
